Healing Minds Awareness Scholarship Award

In line with our 2025 theme Healing Minds, the NNWF Essay Competition invited young people from across Uganda, ranging from primary school to university level, to reflect on mental health in their own words. With submissions from participants aged between 8 and 23, the competition became a powerful space for expression, empathy, and advocacy.

Through storytelling, lived experience, and thoughtful reflection, these essays highlight the urgency of mental health awareness and the role each of us can play in creating a more compassionate, supportive society.

Join us in celebrating these bold, young voices helping shape the future of mental health in Uganda.
